Emma Signature Bed Review

emma signature bed review

If you are shopping for a new frame, you should read this Emma Signature bed review. The popular mattress brand has recently decided to release a bed frame and they hope that it will have the same success as their Emma Diamond hybrid mattress.

For the last decade, I have been sleeping on an IKEA frame so I recently decided that it was about time I make a change. The Emma Signature bed looked quite promising so I decided to order one a few weeks ago. After sleeping on it for the past ten days, I am ready now to move to the full review below.

Construction

When designing it, the engineers at Emma wanted to create a piece of furniture that would last in time. The actual frame is made of solid wood so it’s durable and sturdy. On the other hand, the upholstery is covered with premium fabric. This is a great combination and the frame looks and feels quite premium. Emma decided to use FlexiSlats here which are designed to prevent mattress sagging. This is one of the greatest slat systems that I have seen and it will allow your mattress to perform at its best. If you decide to buy this frame, you will get a 5-year warranty and that says a lot about its quality.

Another great thing about this frame is that it’s easy to assemble. It will take you around 30 minutes to complete and inside the carton boxes, you will find a booklet with detailed instructions. If you think that IKEA furniture is easy to make, I have good news for you. This one is even easier and that says a lot about its design. Overall, this is a well-made bed that won’t disappoint you.

Design

One of the things I like about this frame is its design. According to the maker, this was inspired by Scandinavia and I must admit that this is quite clear when you see it in person. It’s a beautiful piece of furniture that will suit any type of bedroom and it will most probably improve its aesthetics. The Emma Signature bed is available in one colourway (grey) so this is easy to combine. Having said that, I would love it if there were more options available and hopefully, Emma will address this in the near future.

The padded headboard is also a nice feature but it’s not only about the looks, it also adds comfort. Finally, the black legs look nice and they complement the frame very well. Overall, this is a classy piece of furniture that I personally love.

Support

Design is definitely important but the main thing you need to look for when you are shopping for a new bed is performance. After all, a good mattress is only useful when it’s placed on the right foundation. The use of FlexiSlats ensures that your mattress will be well-supported and after using it for a while, I realised that it actually makes a difference. I guess that I should have made the change ages ago but it’s never too late. Overall, I was happy with the performance of this Emma frame and I think that it’s definitely going to help you sleep better.

Pricing

The Emma Signature bed is available in four sizes and it’s fairly priced. The smaller size (Single) costs $900 with the bigger one (King) selling for $1,598. Of course, I have to mention here that Emma runs frequent promotions so you will most likely pay less than that. For instance, at the moment of writing this piece, a Queen-sized bed would only cost you $566! This is an absolute steal and an offer you can ignore! The people at Emma also offer mattress bundles so you can save even more! The table below has more details about the available sizes and their prices.

It’s stylish, well made and supportive so if you buy it at the right time, this is definitely an option I can recommend.
