Sonno Pillow Review

sonno pillow review

It’s common knowledge that a good mattress is not always enough to achieve a night of restful sleep. In this Sonno pillow review, I will talk about this memory foam option that might be the missing piece you’ve been looking for.

After reviewing the Sonno Lite mattress, I was really keen to try more of their products. The Sonno pillow comes with a 30-night trial period that gives you a full month to try it and decide later whether you want to keep this or not. Additionally, it comes with free delivery and a 2-year warranty. Mine was delivered almost 2 weeks ago, so it’s about time I move to the full review below.

Construction

This pillow has a simple design and the engineers at Sonno decided to use a single piece of memory foam. This is something that we have seen before and it works well. Memory foam has pressure-relieving properties and can provide your head and neck with comfort. Moreover, it can mould to the shape of your head so you will get the needed support. Sonno uses CertiPUR-US certified foam so it’s free from any harmful substances. This pillow is designed in Italy but it’s manufactured in China. Overall, this is a well-made pillow that will last for a long time.

Cover

A good pillow should have the ability to breathe and for this reason, the people at Sonno decided to use Outlast® technology. This fabric doesn’t only have the ability to allow airflow but it can also regulate heat so you can have a comfortable sleep. Moreover, it’s very stretchy so it will stay put for a really long time. If you want to clean it, you can remove it and use your washing machine. Make sure you use a mild detergent and cold water. The cover feels soft and it looks very modern. Sonno decided to go with a white colourway which is very similar to their mattresses. Overall, this is a feature-packed cover and it’s definitely my favourite thing about the Sonno pillow.

Support

Before you buy your next pillow, you should first think about how you like to sleep. Once you decide that then you can look for a pillow with the right profile. The Sonno pillow measures 12 cm in height which makes it a great choice for back and side sleepers. I would say that if you are a stomach sleeper, you should probably look for a pillow that measures around 10cm in height.

During the past 2 weeks, I used this pillow in all three main positions and I felt that it did a great job in the back and side position. For my body type, I felt it was a bit too high to sleep on my front. The memory foam core felt very supportive and it did a good job with my head and neck. Overall, I was satisfied with it and the people at Sonno managed to build a good pillow here.

Is this pillow a good choice for me?

This is the main question you all want me to answer before I complete this Sonno pillow review. Personally, I think that this would be a great option for anyone looking for:

If this is what you look for, the Sonno pillow can serve as a great choice. It’s well-made and it comes with great service and support. And at this price, this is definitely a pillow that I can recommend.
